Innercity Weightlifting selected as Recipient in latest NBA foundation grant round

Innercity Weightlifting (ICW) is proud to announce it has been awarded the NBA Foundation Round 15 grant. This investment will allow Innercity Weightlifting to continue to work with young people in creating meaningful alternatives to systems of incarceration through careers in fitness, personal training, and beyond. As we look back and celebrate ICW’s 15 years, this commitment by the NBA Foundation propels ICW towards a future of continued impact.

“We are excited to support Inner City Weightlifting as part of the NBA Foundation’s 15th grant round,” said NBA Foundation Executive Director Ruth Jurgensen. “Our collaboration will help support programs and careers for young people in the fitness and wellbeing industry.”

On the award, ICW Founder and CEO Jon Feinman said “Something incredible happens when power dynamics are flipped and people connect authentically. Social capital is bridged. The false blaming of people is replaced with a judgment of the environmental factors that people have to navigate. When this happens, solutions center people's shared humanity. This is more powerful than policy. This is individual change, moral change. It has the power to impact not just individuals, but networks and systems, and the power to sustain economic opportunity. This change, however, can't be written into law. It has to be believed in and felt. No single group can do this alone, and there is no better group than the NBA to partner with in this. The NBA has been and is a moral leader that we aspire to. We are honored, humbled, and excited to begin a partnership where we can learn together, and create an impact that extends from individuals to society.”

It's fascinating to see how AI tools are helping filmmakers develop and share complex stories more effectively. This push for greater accessibility and clarity in storytelling is also a major trend in medical research. For scientists in the USA, publishing in reputable Open Access Medical Journals USA is a powerful way to ensure their important health findings are immediately available to doctors, researchers, and the public worldwide, removing the traditional subscription barriers. This open model helps accelerate medical progress by allowing new knowledge to be shared and built upon freely, much like the collaborative potential we're seeing in creative fields.

Powerful message about collective responsibility and conscious living! For healthcare professionals exploring the mind-body-spirit connection, documenting research on how spiritual practices impact wellbeing through medical journal publication services could help bridge Eastern wisdom with Western medicine. The emphasis on simple living and veganism particularly resonates with current preventive medicine research. Beautiful reminder that personal transformation fuels global change.

I really liked how the article showed that Innercity Weightlifting is not just about fitness but about giving real second chances. When I was finishing my final year, I felt stuck and unsure about my future, and during that time I even used dissertation help online to manage my workload and stress. Reading about programs that create new paths instead of punishment reminds me how support at the right time can truly change someone’s direction in life.

I read the article about InnerCity Weightlifting being chosen for an NBA Foundation grant and it made me see how support from big programs can really help local groups grow strength and opportunity for young people. It reminded me of a time I once relied on cheap assignment writing service when school work felt heavy and that help gave me calm to finish things on time. It made me think that good support and chance can make hard days easier. Nice post.
